Light Box Slide Inserts {Bucket Filler}
I'm linking up today with Tara from 4th Grade Frolics for her Monday Made It!
These fun lightboxes from Heidi Swapp and American Crafts are all the teacher rage right now! Instagram Peer Pressure got to me and I headed down to Michaels to pick one up!
Then I spent most of the night and the next day playing around and creating fun displays for the light box!!!
I love to teach my Kindergarten students about Bucket Filling, and I know that these fun diplays for my light box will be a great addition to my classroom.
Students will see the display all lit up and be reminded and encouraged to act with kindness and positivity!
Here are some of the fun designs that I created.
Here are all of the designs!
I have added them to my TpT store, and they are on sale {half price} unil Tuesday night - 6/28!!

Those inserts are darling!!! Instagram pressure is a real thing! I spent WAY too much at the dollar spot at Target after seeing so much on IG and have no ideas yet what I'm going to do with half of it. I'm hoping Monday Made It will inspire me! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, Target gets me every time!

Great job on your inserts! :) Did you print on transparency or vellum? I used vellum but wished I had purchased the transparency! I enjoyed reading your blog post! Pam from PJ Jots.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Pam. I originally just bought the vellum - way cheaper - but I didn't like it so much. So I went back out and bought transparencies $$$$. But I like the results better!

Cute light box images! I haven't bought one yet, as I don't have a Michaels. I remember seeing them at Hobby Lobby back in April, I almost picked one up then! I entered a giveaway...hoping I win that. If not, I'll probably be making the purchase! ;)

I am also feeling the temptation brought on by fun Instagram pics. I haven't bought a lightbox yet, but it's definitely been on my mind. I love your inserts - such a fun way to get across an important message.

Love the inserts and I just got a lightbox yesterday, but i have a question. Are the transparencies you are talking about the old kind that are used on overhead projectors? And how do you print in color on them? We can print on those transparencies at school (the old kind for overhead projectors) by running them in the copier, but I don't know if they will go in the printer. I am behind the times on this kind of knowhow! Thanks for post! I'll come back and look for your answer. Kathleen Kidpeople Classroom
ReplyDeleteYes Kathleen, they are the old kind of overhead transparencies! I bought mine at Office Max/Depot and got the ones that were specifically for my type of printer (laser or inkjet). I bought "Apollo Color Laser Printer Transparency Film". They are made to be printed on. Good luck!
